Meadows Art Gallery to Host “Right Off the Wall” Reception

The Meadows Art Gallery has a multi-directional show for December, and as usual, only Door County artists will be in the exhibit. The show is called “Right Off the Wall,” because the works can be purchased off the walls of The Meadows, and if purchasing the artwork, you don’t need to wait until the end of the show to take home the artwork.

Artists included in the exhibit are: Kathi and Kerry Vavra, Kristy Ohman, Madonna Siles, Connie Glowacki, Dennis Connolly, Jean Fritchka, Nancy Akerly, Polly Joubert, Beverly Hart-Branson, Don Brink, Kim Lyon, Faith Frykman, Lori Weir, Debra Strah–Larson, Jonathan Kahut, and several other artist surprises.

Each artist statement is unique to the artist. There will be clothing, painting, drawing, jewelry, printmaking and many combinations of techniques. There will also be two- and three-dimensional works. All of the pieces have reasonable prices for consideration as holiday gifts.

The reception for the December show is Dec. 19, 2 – 4 pm. The Meadows Art Gallery is located on Highway 57 at the top of the Sister Bay hill. Turn right on Canterbury Lane, travel past Bargains Unlimited, and turn right again on Applewood Road. Drive to the main entrance of Scandia Village, keep to the right at the first hallway and there’s the gallery.
