Meet and Support ODBS Raptors at Wisconsin Cheese Masters

During its 10th-anniversary celebration in August, Wisconsin Cheese Masters is partnering with Open Door Bird Sanctuary (ODBS, opendoorbirdsanctuary.org) to raise funds.

On Aug. 1, 10 am – 2 pm, meet some of ODBS’s majestic raptor residents and purchase some award-winning artisanal cheeses – a portion of the sales of which will go to ODBS to help raise $2,000 toward the salary for a second full-time person to work closely with the raptors. 

ODBS would like to have the new employee in place for 2022 to work with Executive Director Rob Hults on training, daily care, private tours and other programming, which has increased almost 300%.

“We are stretched thin with the high demand to visit the sanctuary through our private tours, and our business meet-and-greets have been immensely successful as well,” said Jillaine Seefeldt, ODBS’s director of development and PR.
