Meet Field Museum Artist-In-Residence

Peggy Macnamara, artist-in-residence at Chicago’s Field Museum, will join Miller Art Museum curator Helen del Guidice on March 19, 1:30-2:30 pm, for the Miller’s next installment of The Studio Door.

Macnamara and del Guidice will discuss watercolor painting techniques, perspectives on wildlife painting and Macnamara’s work at the Field Museum, with an audience Q&A at the end. The Studio Door will be held in person, with a virtual option available through Facebook Live.

An artist reception will follow, 3-4:30 pm, when visitors can talk with Macnamara – as well as Sally Duback, Pamela Murphy and Sandra Shackelford, whose work is featured on the Ruth Morton Miller Mezzanine – and enjoy live music by Cathy Grier.
