Meet the Candidates for the April 2 Election

It’s that time of year when we introduce you to the candidates who want to help lead our municipalities, our county and our school boards.

Voters have choices in five municipalities for this year’s April 2 spring election: the towns of Baileys Harbor, Gardner, Sevastopol and Washington, and the Village of Sister Bay; on the County Board of Supervisors; on the Sturgeon Bay Common Council; and for a Door County Circuit Court judge seat. 

Additionally, two of Door County’s five school boards – Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay – have contests. Those candidates can be found inside a special section of the Peninsula Pulse this week. All the rest of the races are contained in a special section at the back of the issue.

There are 36 candidates to whom we sent questionnaires and only one chose not to participate.
