Michael Johnson at White Gull Concert Series

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Michael Johnson will be featured in concert at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek on Feb. 18. Tickets for the 8 pm concert, the fourth in a series of six scheduled at the inn this winter, are $17. Michael Johnson is a classically trained guitarist, an off-Broadway actor and an ex-member of the Chad Mitchell Trio. In a musical career spanning five decades, Johnson has recorded more than a dozen albums and several hit singles, including “Bluer than Blue,” “Give Me Wings,” and “That’s That.” He has toured all over the world with John Denver, Clint Black and Alison Krauss. He has also appeared on numerous television shows, including The Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight and Austin City Limits. Critics laud Johnson’s inventive guitar style as well as his songwriting and smooth vocals. An optional pre-concert fixed price dinner will be served at 6 pm. The menu consists of Jambalaya with shrimp, chicken and sausage over basmati rice, served with corn bread, and a green salad with fennel, orange and citrus vinaigrette.
