Middle School Students Advance To State Math Meet

Sevastopol Middle School’s math team as well as Megan Selle from T.J. Walker Middle School in Sturgeon Bay earned a berth in the 412st annual MATHCOUNTS state competition in Sheboygan.

On Feb. 3 at Acuity in Sheboygan, Selle finished fourth. The Sevastopol team – eighth-graders Everett Luedtke and Aaron Tomas, sixth-grader Maggie Thomas and seventh-grader Lauren Gaida – finished in third place ahead of Parkview Middle School of Green Bay. De Pere and West De Pere finished 1-2.
