Midsummer’s Music’s Opening Night Gala

The 2019 Midsummer’s Music season opens June 14, 7 pm, with an Opening Night Gala at Birch Creek Music Performance Center in Egg Harbor. Wisconsin Public Radio host Norman Gilliland will serve as the evening’s emcee, and Door County Poet Laureate Nancy Rafal will read a poem that she created especially for the occasion.

The evening will begin with a celebratory toast and end with a reception of heavy hors d’oeuvres. Works by Mendelssohn, Farrenc, Turina and Midsummer Music’s composer-in-residence, Jacob Beranek, will be featured.
