Midsummer’s Music’s Prescient Youth Series Astounds

Midsummer’s Music will present the Prescient Youth series of concerts July 10-17, featuring breathtaking works by young composers and child prodigies, including Felix Mendelssohn, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Jacob Beranek, who came to the attention of Midsummer’s Music when he attended a performance in 2015. His enthusiasm for composition was so infectious that he became the organization’s first composer-in-residence

The Prescient Youth concerts will be performed at Woodwalk Gallery on July 10, 7 pm; a Sister Bay salon concert on July 11, 7 pm; the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on July 12, 7 pm; Kress Pavilion on July 14, 3 pm; and a salon concert in Fish Creek on July 17, 7 pm.

The final three concerts of the Clara, Robert and Felix series will be performed July 5-7.

Tickets are $29 per adult, $10 per student and free for children 12 and younger. To learn more and purchase tickets, visit midsummersmusic.com.
