Miller Art Museum Celebrates Student Artists’ Talents

The Miller Art Museum (MAM) will open the 45th annual Salon of Door County High School Art exhibition to the public on April 20.

Presented in collaboration with peninsula art educators, it celebrates 45 years of displaying works in diverse media by students residing throughout the county. This year’s exhibit will include 152 imaginative works made by more than 100 students.

The public is invited to a free opening reception on April 22, 7-8:30 pm, when art teachers will present certificates to all student artists and MAM Executive Director Elizabeth Meissner-Gigstead will present 10 cash awards: five Awards of Excellence and five Honorable Mentions.
