Mini Golf Masters Hosted by Egg Harbor Fun Park

The Egg Harbor Fun Park will be the site for this year’s Leadership Door County (LDC) Mini Golf Masters event on Sept. 24 from 5 to 8 pm.

The Mini Golf Masters is LDC’s only fundraising event and benefits a number of area organizations by having each of the mini-golf teams raise money for both LDC and the charity of their choice.

Dawn VandeVoort, LDC Board president, explains, “The beauty of this event is that it gives folks the opportunity to raise some money for their organization at a time of year when they might not have had anything planned and LDC does all the event planning. All they have to do is make a few calls and show up to have some mini golf fun. We split the first $1,000. Any funds over $1,000 all go to each team’s chosen charity.”

Prizes will be awarded for most money raised, best hat, loudest pants, best overall turnout, high score and low score.

“LDC has a long legacy of being a scrappy, grassroots run organization that takes its mission seriously, but not itself,” says LDC program coordinator Anni Lampert.
