Mipso Up Next at Peg Egan PAC

Mipso is up next in the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center’s (PAC) free Sunset Concert Series on July 24, 7 pm.

Since making its acclaimed debut with 2013’s Dark Holler Pop, the four-piece Mipso from North Carolina has captivated audiences with finely layered vocals, graceful fluency in the musical traditions of North Carolina, and an astounding musical connection.

On Mipso’s self-titled sixth album, fiddle player Libby Rodenbough, mandolinist Jacob Sharp, guitarist Joseph Terrell and bassist Wood Robinson are both sonically adventurous and lyrically rich.

The Peg Egan PAC, 7840 Church St. in Egg Harbor, is an outdoor amphitheater that hosts some of the best folk, blues, alternative, jazz and world music from national touring artists. Take a chair or blanket, and carry-ins are welcome. In case of rain, concerts are held at Alpine Resort. Call 920.493.5979 to find out more.
