Miss Meaghan Owens & Ryan Thompson

Miss Meaghan Owens fuses glamour and grit with jazz, folk, country, and indie and says she “writes songs that are small fictions of the Americana sound-scape.”

Add the bluegrass vibes of Ryan Thompson and you just might find a new favorite genre. Owens and Thompson are both Midwestern natives who’ve rambled all over sharing their talents. You may have even seen Thompson in action with the band Deep Fried Grass or collaborating with other notable musicians that include Lee Greenwood, George Jones, Trisha Yearwood, and The Oak Ridge Boys.

On Friday, The Company Store, located at 306 S. Third Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, will debut its re-vamped dinner menu as Owens performs solo for their “Menu Release Party.” Saturday, Thompson joins Owens in an outdoor performance at The Fishing Hole, 6962 County M, Sturgeon Bay. He will close out the evening with a solo set.

During their performance, treat yourself to BBQ ribs fresh off the outdoor grill, coleslaw, and potato salad. There’s nothing better than food, fun and great music.
