Neighbor to Neighbor Holds Annual Meeting

Neighbor to Neighbor will celebrate the organization’s achievements at the annual meeting in Conference Room #1 at the Sturgeon Bay Public Library on Nov. 27, 5 pm. The agenda includes: volunteer awards, program updates, agency updates, and the financial report. The regular monthly board meeting will directly follow the annual meeting.

In 2017, 1,413 individuals benefited from services provided by Neighbor to Neighbor. Door County residents saved more than $400,000 in medical expenses by using the organization’s services. Ninety-four volunteers donated 2,873 hours to facilitate medical equipment loans, serve as peer companions and/or respite care providers to homebound or isolated individuals, staff the office, serve on the board of directors, and assist with special events.
