New Book Details Family’s Harrowing History

Author David Walker and his aunt Helga (Hundt) Bobb will be signing Walker’s book, Hundting Freedom: The Hundt Family’s Story of Horror, Perseverance & Escape to Freedom, on July 9, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, at United Methodist Church, 836 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.

The story details the atrocities inflicted on the Hundt family – primarily the six very young children, including Helga – and their horrific journey through post-World War II at the hands of the Russian authorities.
