New Staff at Door County Land Trust

The Door County Land Trust has hired two new staff members.

Its land program manager is Brian Forest, who has more than 20 years of conservation experience with organizations such as the Door County Soil and Water Conservation Department and The Ridges Sanctuary. In his role, Forest manages the process of acquiring new lands to help meet the Land Trust’s conservation priorities.

Paige Witek, the new community conservation coordinator, engages with the community in natural-resources stewardship, environmental education, citizen-science programs and ecological research.
