New Venue for Beer Fest

The Door County Beer Festival will move to the grounds of MAX at Maxwelton Braes, just south of Baileys Harbor, for this year’s event on June 19, 11 am – 4 pm.

Organizers of the festival of craft beer, food and live music made the move to ease congestion in downtown Baileys Harbor on Father’s Day weekend and give event-goers more space to spread out as the Peninsula Century Spring Classic takes place at its traditional location at the Baileys Harbor town hall. The beer festival has traditionally been held at Brann Field in conjunction with the bike ride. Peninsula Pacers organizes both events.

The Pacers will provide free shuttle service to and from the beer festival grounds, with stops at sponsor hotels and in downtown Baileys Harbor. Find shuttle information at doorcountybeerfestival.com.

The event will feature tastings of more than 150 Midwestern craft beers, food from local restaurants and live music on the grounds of the reconcepted MAX bar and event space. Confirmed food vendors include Wickman House, Lumberjack’s Taco Shack, Wally’s Weenie Wagon and Dog House.

Event organizers are seeking volunteers to help with setup, breakdown and beer pouring. To volunteer, email Jordan Burress at [email protected].

Fewer than 200 general admission tickets are still available. No tickets will be sold on event day. Buy tickets and get more information at doorcountybeerfestival.com.
