Nick Vogel Sends Donation to Southern Door FFA

Local farmer Nick Vogel directed $2,500 to Southern Door FFA through America’s Farmers Grow Communities. During National FFA Week in February, food donations valued at $620.73 were collected by the students. The FFA is using some of these funds from Monsanto to match the value of the food drive. They will also hold a plastic bag recycling event later this spring for the Southern Door community.

“I am glad the donation can go toward helping the youth in the community,” said Vogel. “As a farmer, I know the importance of agriculture education and I believe the Southern Door FFA does a great job in its promotion.”
