Northern Door Children’s Center Takes Bids for Roof Installation

Four local homes, a historic church, and Wisconsin’s largest private residence were the big draw for Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) Holiday Home Tour 2013. More than 1,000 guests attended during the Thanksgiving weekend and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

The aim of this year’s event was to raise the funds to put a new roof on the Children’s Center in Sister Bay. NDCC continues to take bids for contractors to install the roof.

“Taking out expenses for the event and dollars already earmarked for next year’s budget, we cleared $23,000,” says Executive Director Cindy Trinkner-Peot. “We are so grateful to our homeowners, volunteers and sponsors for their amazing help and support.”
