Northern Sky Presents Shows at Gould, Peninsula State Park

Beginning July 12, Northern Sky Theater will present Not Even Remotely at its Gould Theater and Tongue ’n Cheek at the Northern Sky amphitheater in Peninsula State Park. Both shows will run Monday – Saturday, 7:30 pm, through Aug. 7.

Not Even Remotely is a madcap romp about two actors who’ve been planning a lavish, in-person musical version of Frankenstein, but when rehearsals are suddenly shut down, they’re forced to perform a two-person, online version of the show instead.

The Gould Theater, 9058 Cty A in Fish Creek, will be operating at 50% capacity; masks are optional for vaccinated patrons; all seats are reserved; and patrons must purchase tickets in advance: $35 per adult, $20 per student and $15 per child 12 and younger.

Originally produced in 1991, Tongue ’n Cheek is a timeless classic inspired by old-time radio shows that tells the story of long-suffering Naomi Sutter and her work-averse husband, George, who quibble while Doc Johnson woos his skeptical neighbor, Lorna.

The amphitheater in Peninsula State Park will be running at 60% capacity; patrons may choose a socially distanced section of the theater as availability allows; and patrons must purchase tickets in advance: $22-$30 per adult, $11-$19 per student and $7-$15 per child 12 and younger. A park sticker is not required to attend these performances.
