NWTC Celebrated Midyear Grads

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) hosted its midyear graduation ceremony Dec. 16 to celebrate more than 1,400 students from all three campuses and five regional centers who completed their programs during the fall 2021 semester. This was the first in-person graduation ceremony since December 2019. It was held at the Resch Center in Green Bay and livestreamed.

“I am thrilled that for the first time in two years, we will gather in person to celebrate this important life milestone for our students,” said Jeff Rafn, NWTC president, in advance of the ceremony. “A lot of hard work goes into this achievement, and I am inspired by the dedication our students have shown and look forward to seeing them apply their expertise in our community.”

In this graduating class, approximately 520 received degrees with honors or high honors; 145 were members of Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society of two-year colleges; 10 were international students; and 45 were U.S. veterans.
