Nyberg Closes Sturgeon Bay Gallery

When Tim Nyberg, a graphic designer, author and illustrator from the Twin Cities, moved to Door County in 2005 he started painting – and hasn’t stopped.

The past six years, Nyberg has shown in three of his own gallery spaces: Gallery 42 in Juddville and two spaces in the Fairfield Building in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Nyberg developed an enthusiastic and loyal customer base in Door County and as far away as Germany. Nyberg’s art has also been licensed for retail products such as greeting cards, art prints and housewares.

Now, business opportunities and family are calling Nyberg and his wife, Julie, back to Minnesota. Nyberg is currently packing up his easels and over 250 paintings and relocating to the Twin Cities. His paintings, greeting cards and prints will remain available at The Flying Pig Gallery and Greenspace in Algoma and on walls of various Door County businesses.

The gallery closing/relocating sale will be held August 24 – 26 from 10 am to 4 pm. Substantial discounts will be given on all of his paintings and remaining print and greeting cards in stock. A portion of the sale proceeds will benefit Feed My Starving Children – a non-profit organization that ships nutritious meals to over 70 countries around the world (visit FMSC.org for more information).

Tim Nyberg’s FUN ART is located in the Fairfield at the corner of Third Avenue and Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay.
