Obituary: Avery Hoosier

October 19, 1955 ~ April 5, 2022

Avery Hoosier, 66, of Sturgeon Bay, WI, died unexpectedly on April 5, 2022.  He was born in Roseau, MN on October 19, 1955 to Donald and Frances (Broten) Hoosier. 

After graduating high school in Osseo, MN, Avery attended college for two years in Brainerd, MN for Landscape Design and Horticulture. After graduating college, he moved to Sturgeon Bay, WI to pursue his passions. 

In 2003, he was reintroduced to his elementary school classmate Debbie, and they went on to run a successful landscaping company for 15 years. 

He is survived by his son Kyle and daughter-in-law Katie; his daughter Kristen and son-in-law Eric, his life partner Debbie and her kids Tori and Joe; his grandchildren, Lennox, Raelynn, Ethan, and Kaitlyn; his sisters, Toni, Carla, Denise, and brother Rene; and so many more cousins, nieces, and nephews. Avery was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation to honor his life will be held at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  On-line condolences may be offered at www.forbesfuneralhome.com
