Obituary: David Bongle

Nov. 14, 1960 – Feb. 19, 2020

David Bongle, 59, of Sturgeon Bay, lost his battle with cancer at Sturgeon Bay Health Services. He was born in Sturgeon Bay to Domingo and Rosemary (Glass) Bongle.

After attending Sevastopol High School, Dave spent time in different parts of the country and Canada. For many years, he worked as a painter. Dave was diagnosed with cancer several years ago, eventually becoming disabled. 

He is survived by three siblings, Diane (Jerry) DeMeuse of Pulaski, Danny (Joyce) Bongle of Fort Atkinson, and Dennis (Yvonne) Bongle of Luxemburg; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 6-8 pm, at Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.  Memories and condolences can be offered at forbesfuneralhome.com.
