Obituary: Dorothy Juliana Koeppe

Dorothy Juliana Koeppe, 88, of Sturgeon Bay, died Oct. 17, 2016.  Dorothy was born in a bakery in the middle of the bustling city of Milwaukee on November 25, 1927, to Anton and Juliana (Hoegler) Leutegeweger.  On August 19, 1950, Dorothy married Jerome H. Koeppe.  Dorothy worked for Wisconsin Bell in Milwaukee and Appleton for 27 years.  She and her husband retired to Door County in 1990.

Survivors include her husband and three children, Kristopher (Marina) Koeppe, Appleton; Pamela (special friend, Jerry) Fischer, Green Bay; Karen (Donald) LuMaye, Green Bay; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and 3 great-grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time.  Memorials may be given to Unity Hospice or Ministry Door County Medical Center. Forbes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
