Obituary: Jeanne Tassoul

Jeanne Tassoul, 80, of Brussels, died July 2, 2016 at Anna’s Healthcare in Sturgeon Bay.  She was born Feb. 29, 1936 in the Town of Union to Albert and Rose (Draize) Lampereur.  On July 10, 1954 she married Robert F. Tassoul in Namur.  He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1994.

Jeanne and her husband farmed in the town of Union for many years.  She loved baking and will be remembered for her Belgian pies.  Jeanne was a very social person who enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include 3 sons, Brad (Tina), Randall (Randi), and Dean (Kelly), all of Brussels; 8 grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Ashley, Derek, Alexander, Matthew (Kristin), Markus (Ashley), Heather (David), and Nicole (Troy); 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Gloria Vandermeuse.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother James.

Funeral services were held July 6 with the Rev. Brian Mitoraj officiating.  Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
