OBITUARY: Karen L. Andrus

Karen L. Andrus (nee Friedlund), age 72, a resident of Naperville, Illinois since 1982, also of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. She was born Oct. 2, 1945 in Evanston, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge Herbert R. and Maretta Friedlund, husband Paul, and sisters-in-law, Patricia Andrus and Phyllis Andrus.

Karen is survived by her sons, Brian (Ellen) and Randy (Angela) Andrus; sisters, Ellen (Barry) Rundle and Linda Johansen; grandchildren, Christopher, Addison, and Jackson; brothers-in-law, Edward Andrus, John (Janet) Andrus, and Mark (Sharon) Andrus; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, 4 – 8 pm at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, Illinois.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 10:30 am in the funeral home with Rev. Ray Krueger officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Naperville Cemetery.
