Obituary: Richard E. Larson

Richard Emil Larson died Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was born in Chicago March 6, 1945 to Emery and Bernice Larson. He moved with his family to Sister Bay when he was 2 years old. He attended Appleport School and was a 1963 graduate of Gibraltar. After attaining an associate business degree he worked for the State of Wisconsin in Madison for 25 years. He then returned to his beloved Appleport. He most recently was employed at the County Walk BP in Sister Bay. Richard is survived by his sister Jeanne (Mike) Hyde, Fish Creek, his 2 nieces Lexie and Alison, who were his greatest joy, and his lifelong friend Bev Knutson. His parents and brother John preceded him in death.

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at 11 am, Friday, November 13 at the Sister Bay Moravian Church. There will be a visitation from 10-11 am.
