Obituary: Susan J. Klemas

September 17, 1944 ~ April 28, 2023

Susan Joan Klemas, 78, of Sturgeon Bay died at Cherry Cove on April 28, 2023.  She was born September 17, 1944, in Iron River, MI to Victor and Mabel (Christensen) Klemas.

Susan graduated from Iron River High School and then earned a degree in elementary education at Northern Michigan University.  She taught kindergarten and elementary grades in Manitowoc, Madison, and Green Bay before becoming disabled. 

Sue enjoyed traveling, bowling, watching the Packers, Bucks and Brewers.

She is survived by her significant other Joseph Clabots; cousin Bonnie Puskala and special friends, Norma Reynen, Pat Tennyson and Linda Waligursky.  She was preceded in death by her parents and special friend Jean Larson.
