Obituary: Troy E. Rass

July 3, 1978 – Oct. 8, 2018

Troy Edwin Rass, 40, of Sturgeon Bay, died at Door County Medical Center. He was born in Sturgeon Bay to Dale and Kathy (Poehler) Rass. Troy graduated from Southern Door High School in 1997. On Oct. 9, 1999, he married Katy Weir in Brussels. Troy was the owner and operator of Rass Excavating. Troy loved spending time with his family, cooking of every kind, hunting and fishing, hobby farming and going on vacations. He also enjoyed stock car racing, and just being part of his children’s lives. According to Troy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
