Openings Available for Ridges Summer Youth Programs

The Ridges Sanctuary’s popular summer youth programs still have openings for June, July, and August.

When kids attend Ridges programs, they experience first-hand one of the most unique natural areas in Door County. With all of the programs being conducted by professional staff and volunteers from The Ridges, children can search for dragonfly larvae in a sedge meadow, examine animal tracks along the beach, and learn about the appetites of insect-eating pitcher plants and sundews.

Openings are available in the following camp sessions:

• Kit Camp is for children ages four through kindergarten, June 29, 30 and July 1, 9 am – noon. Program theme is “Birds, Beasts and Bugs.” Cost for Ridges members is $50 for all three days, non-members $60.
