Under new ownership, and renovated in 2018, one of Wisconsin’s oldest bowling alleys has quickly become one of Door County’s hottest spots for not only family fun but has a hip nightlife vibe too. Located in Sturgeon Bay’s historical Main Street district this 15,000 square foot building was built in 1929 as Congress Recreation parlors and has continuously ran as a bowling alley since.

The first floor restoration exposed brick walls, original terrazzo flooring and added large facade windows not unlike what the original architectural drawings hung near the entrance show. The menu features locally sourced hot dogs, brats, and hand tossed pizza’s along with other fun snacks and charcuterie boards. The 8 tap beers are exclusive to Wisconsin beer plus Baumeister Root Beer (try their amazing floats!) and Nitro Cold brew coffee (their cocktail with bourbon cream is the bomb).

Craft cocktail and mocktail menus are held in old bowling balls on the custom made retro inspired tables. From manual scoring on original 1950’s scoring tables with fully restored lanes, to endless classic arcades and an impressive pinball line up, this large venue will not disappoint for endless authentic Wisconsin fun.
