About Ephraim Historical Foundation & Museums

The Ephraim Historical Foundation (EHF) preserves and shares the history of Ephraim through its historic collections, exhibits, and its buildings. Several of these buildings, including the Anderson Store, Anderson Barn, Pioneer Schoolhouse, and Goodletson Cabin, offer free admission and are regularly open as museums during the summer and fall. A fifth museum, The Iverson House, is open for special tours and events. The Svalhus Research Library serves as a genealogy and local history resource and has regular hours during the summer and fall.

Visitors can also learn about Ephraim’s history through the EHF’s tours, including the Classic Tram Tour and Historic Walking Tour, which provide an overview of Ephraim’s history. Other tours, including the Heritage Tram Tour and the Moravian Church and Iverson House Tour, focus on the community’s Moravian heritage.

Additionally, the EHF educates and enlightens visitors through its programs, including Child’s Play, a collaborative children’s program with the Ephraim Library, Schoolroom Lessons at the Pioneer Schoolhouse Museum, Sunday SingAlongs, and the History Speaks lecture series.

The Ephraim Historical Foundation’s offices are open year-round at 3060 Anderson Lane from 9am-4pm. Visit us online www.ephraim.org for more information, including museum and tour schedules, or call us at 920-854-9688.
