Pastel Paintings at Base Camp

Base Camp Coffee features a collection of original paintings by local pastel artist Carol Schalla. Schalla enjoys working in both impressionistic and representational styles, depending on the subject matter. Schalla said that the ever-changing seasons of Door County provide color challenges and unending inspiration for her paintings. A varied array of her works, past and present, will be displayed in September and October.

Base Camp Coffee, located at 10904 Hwy 42 in Sister Bay, is open everyday from 7:30 am to 2 pm.
