Peninsula Music Festival Announces 72nd Season

The Peninsula Music Festival’s (PMF) 72nd season will include a special night of Tchaikovsky with soloist Inna Faliks, led by the organization’s Conductor Laureate Victor Yampolsky on Aug. 8.

“Our music director Rune Bergmann has built on the excitement of last year,” PMF’s interim executive director Lisa Harper said. “Our patrons gave us valuable feedback on what they wanted more of, and we have it.”

The season will also feature pieces from renowned classical composers like Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Mahler, Vivaldi and Bruckner, as well as  contemporary composers like Sibelius, Copland, Williams, and Bernstein.

Performances will be held Aug. 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22 and 24 at 7:30 pm at the Door Community Auditorium.

Tickets start at $35 per person and $10 for students. Season subscriptions are available.
