Peninsula Players Presents New Audio Play

Peninsula Players Theatre will offer an audio play reading March 1, 7 pm, as part of its play-reading series, The Play’s the Thing. Bell, Book and Candle by John Van Druten is a bewitching comedy about the enchanting subject of romance.

Gillian, a beautiful witch, puts a love spell on her neighbor, Shepard, a handsome and unattached publisher, to make a college rival jealous. Surprisingly, Gillian finds herself growing more affectionate toward Shepard, which poses a problem: She will lose her supernatural powers if she falls in love.
