Peninsula School of Art Symposium Centers on Online Marketing

The tools of online marketing will be the focus of a three-day Business of Art Symposium at Peninsula School of Art. Beginning Thursday, January 13, the symposium is designed to guide entrepreneurs in creative businesses through the options and applications of digital marketing.

The first day’s topic, “Digital Centered Marketing” is an introduction to the options of digital media and how to adapt and apply some of the latest techniques to create a digitally-centered marketing plan. Friday’s workshop will present the seven elements of a winning website as students learn how a website is built from start to finish. During this session, participants will also draft site architecture and develop content for their websites. The final workshop on Saturday reveals how to use the internet to connect with customers and collectors.

The Business of Art Symposium instructors are digital media experts with years of online marketing to their credit. Dana VanDen Heuvel is founder and president of The MarketingSavant Group and has been a featured speaker at dozens of American Marketing Association events, in addition to being a regular contributor to a variety of industry publications. Software specialist, Dennis Challe, founded Infinity Technology, Inc. 15 years ago. His firm provides network solutions, hosting services and IT staffing. Both instructors’ businesses are based in Green Bay.
