Peninsula State Park Hosts Annual “Spook-tacular” Hike

Lauren the Good Witch welcomes visitors to last year’s “Spook-tacular” Hike.

Saturday, October 10 marks the Peninsula State Park’s annual “Spook-tacular” Hike. This “ghoulishly” fun Halloween event will take place from 5 – 7:30 pm.

The Northern Door Girl Scouts teach children about monarch and luna months at Peninsula State Park’s “Spook-tacular” Hike.

The hike is a combined fundraiser for Peninsula State Park’s Nature Center and the Northern Door Girl Scouts. The self-guided walk is about a mile long and accented with a colorful cast of Halloween characters, such as friendly witches, Spider Woman, and even Smokey the Bear.

A bonfire and s’mores will follow the event. A donation of $2 for adults and $1 for children is suggested, and a park sticker is required. For more information, call 920.868.3258 or 920.854.5976.
