Pioneer Girls Hoopsters Open Season 5-0

Sevastopol’s girls basketball team improved its overall season record to 5-0 on Monday with a 55-37 non-conference home victory over Manitowoc Roncalli.

Bailey Rikkola led the Pioneers with a game-high 21 points. Naomi Rikkola added 15 points, which included three 3-pointers.

Sevastopol this season has won non-conference games against Suring, Two Rivers, Shiocton and Roncalli and its Packerland Conference opener against Peshtigo.

Up next for the Pioneers is a conference game Thursday night at Southern Door.
