Pioneers Fall at Algoma in Boys Basketball

Sevastopol could only muster eight first-half points Thursday when the Pioneers lost their Packerland Conference contest at Algoma, 54-40.

Frankie de Young recorded a double-double for Sevastopol with 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Parker Lischka led the Wolves with 24 points. Cody Kirchman added 12 points.

Sevastopol, which dropped to 0-3 in the Packerland and 1-6 overall, will seek its first conference win of the season Tuesday at home against Gibraltar.
