Pioneers Slam Stockbridge in Boys Basketball

Frankie de Young recorded a triple double Tuesday when Sevastopol’s boys basketball team won a non-conference game at home against Stockbridge, 92-37, and snapped an 11-game losing streak.

de Young had 11 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Pioneers, who had four other players score in double figures. Lucas Delsart tallied a game-high 16 points, Logan Schuh added 14 points, Damien Lardinois also had 11 points and Norman Luedtke put in 10 more.

Sevastopol, which improved to 2-11 overall and is 0-7 in the Packerland Conference, returns to action Saturday afternoon when it hosts a conference game against league leader Southern Door, which is 9-0 in the Packerland and 11-4 overall.
