Players Perform “Born Yesterday” and “The Lady’s Not for Burning”

Now on stage at Peninsula Players is Garson Kanin’s classic American comedy “Born Yesterday” through July 27. Harry, a wealthy scrap-metal racketeer hires a savvy young reporter to smarten up his beautiful, but dim-witted gal pal, Billie. As lessons commence, Billie proves to be smarter than anyone thought, and Harry’s plan to add a senator to his back pocket goes quickly awry. Pictured are Erica Elam and Neil Friedman as Harry Brock and Billie Dawn in the infamous gin game scene.

Next on stage at Peninsula Players is “The Lady’s Not for Burning” by Christopher Fry from July 30 – August 10.

The Players perform Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 7:30 pm with a matinee performance at 4 pm, Sunday July 27.
