PMF Comes Early with February Fest

Peninsula Music Festival (PMF) presents February Fest with the PMF Trio on Feb. 15 at 2 pm at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church in Ellison Bay.

The PMF Trio is comprised of Susanna Self, flute; Jeffery Noel Lastrapes, cello; and Judith Jackson, piano. The program for the afternoon will feature the music of Weber and Mendelssohn.

Self has performed throughout the United States and Europe as a soloist, orchestral flutist, educator and chamber musician.

Lastrapes is a soloist, chamber musician, recitalist and teacher. He has appeared throughout the United States, Europe and South America. He will perform in the Peninsula Music Festival Orchestra’s cello section for the August 2014 season.

Jackson is a professional pianist, accompanist and vocal coach. Before moving to Door County permanently, she was Principal Pianist of Chicago Opera Theater for more than a decade.

Music Director Victor Yampolsky will be in attendance. Visit with Yampolsky and the musicians at a special reception after the concert. General admission seating is $25 (plus tax) with children and students just $10 (plus tax).
