Public Meeting For South Duluth Project

A public meeting on proposed improvements to South Duluth Avenue between Emerald Drive and Spruce Drive in the City of Sturgeon Bay will be held April 18 from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

City Engineer Chad Shefchik said project representatives will be available at that time to discuss the project and address any questions or concerns. Find project information at sturgeonbaywi.org.

The project plans include reconstruction of the roadway; addition of curb/gutter and sidewalk; designated on-road bike lanes; upgrades to the pedestrian crossing at the state Highway 42/57 intersection; installation of storm sewer; and pavement marking and signing.

Shefchik said construction is planned for the summer of 2026.
