“The USDA has updated its crop production expectations for this year and it still has Wisconsin’s corn crop breaking an all-time record for overall yield. Based on conditions as of Oct. 1, yields are expected to average 164 bushels per acre, up eight bushels per acre from last year and two bushels above the September forecast. If realized, it will top the previous record of 162 bushels per acre set in 2010.” ~ Wisconsin Corn Growers Association
