Rabbi Brickman Leads Bible Discussion

Rabbi Jay Brickman is leading Saturday morning discussions on “The Study of the Five Books of Moses” at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Ephraim through Saturday, September 5. The weekly sessions take place from 10 – 11:30 am.

Participants read the passages then discuss what they meant at the time they were written as well as how they might apply to contemporary times. The discussion will not be based on any set theology. Participants are asked to bring a bible. There is no charge for the series, everyone is welcome, and participants do not need to attend all of the sessions.

Brickman has a summer home in Baileys Harbor and is a friend of the UUF. He has taught a similar course in Milwaukee since 1955.
