Registration Opens for YMCA Labor Day Weekend Run

The YMCA’s 11th Annual Labor Day Weekend Run is less than one month away on September 1. The weekend features a 5k run/walk, a half-mile children’s race, a duathlon with a 2 mile run/12 mile bike/2 mile run, and a pairs relay.

There will also be door prizes, free use of the Aquatic Center and refreshments (including root beer floats).

Race day registration begins at 7 am, the duathlon at 8 am, the 5K run at 9:45 am and the children’s race at 10:15 am.

Registration fees are $37 before August 15, and $45 thereafter, for adults and youth in the duathlon and $55 for the pairs relay. The 5k run/walk is $18 through August 15, and $23 thereafter, for adults and $10 for youth ages 8 – 17. The cost for the children’s race is $5.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all participants who preregister. Registration forms are available at either YMCA or online at http://www.doorcountyymca.org.

The Labor Day Weekend Run will be held at the Northern Door Program Center located at 3866 Gibraltar Road in Fish Creek.
