Renard’s Closes Algoma Store

The Renard’s Cheese family disclosed on Facebook last week that it had closed its Algoma retail store on County S Oct. 5 due to staffing shortages, which “have impacted many businesses over the past few years,” according to the social-media post. “Up until recently, Renard’s Cheese has avoided the impact of these shortages. However, this is no longer the case.”

The closure of the Algoma store will allow the business to combine its team members at one location – 2198 Cty DK in Southern Door – “to ensure our team members reasonable working hours and work/life balance,” according to the social-media post, and “to serve our valued customers with the highest level of service we can provide.”
