Tommy Burroughs and Friends Take Over the AC Tap

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, join nationally-recognized fiddle, guitar and mandolin player Tommy Burroughs as he performs with his Door County friends at the AC Tap. The evening is sure to be filled with a collection of diverse and entertaining music.

Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Burroughs has an impressive discography including Hillbilly Speedball, described as traditional and original acoustic and bluegrass tunes played with a rock n’ roll attitude. He has appeared on multiple recordings and soundtracks with many well-known artists. Burroughs virtuosity on a number of instruments earned him honors as the Premier Strings Player in 1994, 1995 and 1996 by the Memphis Chapter of the National Academy of Records, Arts and Sciences.

Performing with Burroughs will be well known Door County singer/songwriters Jeanne Kuhns and Dan Mayhew, whom will add their original music flavors, as well singing favorite rock, blues and pop. Ben Larson, who positively levitates when he is singing and playing congas, will also join the group. This evening will be a combination of musical styles, great vocals, harmonies and of course the stunning instrumental work of Tommy Burroughs and Dan Mayhew.

Music starts at 9 pm and goes until 1 am. The AC Tap is located on Hwy 57 just north of Baileys Harbor.
