Roen Salvage Awarded Dredging Contract

Roen Salvage of Sturgeon Bay was awarded a dredging contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Roen is one of 10 small business dredging contractors around the Great Lakes to receive one of the awards.

The contracts are designed to provide greater flexibility in responding to maintenance dredging of the commercial shipping channels and harbors in the Great Lakes System, while saving taxpayers’ dollars.

The contracts allow districts in the Great Lakes region to quickly advertise and award task orders for maintenance dredging of harbors and rivers to this pre-selected group of contractors.
