Roger Kuhns to Present at JHS Meeting

Join the Jacksonport Historical Society on June 9 at 7 pm at the Jacksonport Town Hall for a geological presentation by Roger Kuhns. Kuhns will speak on the Niagara Escarpment and Niagara Dolomite. Learn about the upland ridges, underlying bedrock, and sand beaches around Door County’s 491 square miles. It’s a fascinating history that began millions of years ago.

Admission is free, but donations are welcomed. The presentation is open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the presentation. The Jacksonport Town Hall is located on County V.
